Glacier Landing: Matterhorn
Enjoy a fascinating flight from 13 500ft (4000m) of the dramatic trio peaks, Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and the infamous Matterhorn. If the flight wasn't enough, you will touch down, landing on a high alpine glacier in one of our specially adapted glacier airplanes. The meeting place is the Scenic Air base in Reichenbach. You will be greeted on arrival by our friendly staff. The pilot will acquaint you with Scenic Air’s safety regulations and provide a fascinating insight into what awaits you upon the glacier. After take-off you can view the renowned peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau before passing over the Aletsch glacier into the Canton of Valais. Your pilot will fly you to the peak of the Matterhorn, where you might even see climbers approaching the summit. After this prime photo opportunity, you fly towards the Petersgrat ridge for the highlight of the trip, a glacier landing.
